Procedure:
Read the Regulations relating to electronic labelling of videograms and the information concerning the Electronic Commerce Act. See links on the right.
Complete application form ME-2203 relating to permits for internet-based sales. Submit the form accompanied by documentation (screen dump) to the Norwegian Media Authority, showing how the user interface for the service takes into account the requirements related to labelling and information regarding the individual film title (registration number, recommended age limit, responsible distributor and the Norwegian Media Authority's name and logo). If you are not already registered as a distributor, you will at this time be assigned a distributor number for use in all subsequent inquiries.
Then complete form ME-2204 for registration of videograms.
When the film has been registered with us, the distributor will receive a letter with a registration number which must be announced to the party ordering the film before the final order is placed.
The film can now be distributed. The distributor will be invoiced annually following submission of report indicating the number of films available for rent.
